“You will come out stronger and better” – Crossdresser James Brown writes open letter to senior colleague Bobrisky
Popular Nigerian crossdresser, James Obialor Brown, has continued to console her senior colleague, Bobrisky, who has spent over 7 days in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC).
Recall that Bobrisky was arrested and detained by the EFCC on Wednesday, April 3, 2024. According to the commission, Bobrisky was invited due to a video report of spraying new Naira notes at the premiere of Eniola Ajao’s movie titled, ‘Ajakaju’, which has grossed over N101.2 million.
Subsequently, Federal high court scheduled April 9, 2024, for his sentencing and ordered that he be held in EFCC custody until then.
However, the Federal Government declared Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, April 9, 10 and 11, 2024, as public holidays to mark the Eid-el-Fitr celebration, extending Bobrisky’s stay in the EFCC custody.
In the recent post, James Brown penned some solidarity messages to Bobrisky as he shared via his Instagram page.
He stated that he could relate with what Bobrisky is currently going through because he too had once been detained.
He expressed his sympathy and encouraged Bobrisky to keep strong during this difficult period, revealing that the self-made ‘Mummy of Lagos’ will be coming out stronger and better.
The post reads, “[LETTER TO BOBRISKY] I was Deeply saddened to hear about your tremendous Current situation. It’s incredibly unfair that you’ve been locked up. Please know that you have my support and sympathy during this difficult time.”
“I Can’t imagine how challenging & it must be for you, cause I can vividly remember went through while I wes there not to talk of u being a transgender. it’s not easy just Be strong ahd fight your Best.”
