Pastor Jeremiah Fufeyin donates N5 million to Mr Ibu family ahead of burial service (Video)
Founder and head prophet of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry (CMDM), Delta state, Pastor Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, has supported the family of late Nollywood actor Mr Ibu with a whopping sum of money.
News circulating online reported that Mr Fufeyin donated N5 million in regards to Mr Ibu’s burial, which will start on June 25.
The deceased family recently released burial arrangements on April 13th. According to the family, the funeral service will take place for 5 days and Mr Ibu will be buried in his hometown Amuri, in Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State.
The burial ceremony would begin on Tuesday, June 25th with a high-profile novelty match, while on Wednesday, June 26, there would be a session called Mr Ibu’s Night, which would involve candlelight procession and live entertainment.
On June 27, a Christian wake will be held at his compound in Eziokwe Amuri, Nkanu West while the funeral service takes place on June 28.
The 5-day burial ceremony will be wrapped up on Sunday, 30th June, with a Church Thanksgiving for family members, friends and well wishers.
Ahead of his burial service, Pastor Fufeyin dropped N5 million in preparation of the funeral ceremony of Mr Ibu, whose real name is John Okafor.
The clergyman made the announcement in his church after Mr Ibu’s friends and associates, Actor Guild of Nigeria, requested the support of Pastor Fufeyin.
According to the head prophet, he gave out N2 million to Mr Ibu’s family and N3 million for the burial arrangements.
