“Ask his brother” – Movie producer, Stanley Ontop replies those asking why ‘husband’ was omitted from Jnr Pope’s obituary

Nigerian movie producer, Stanley Ontop, has responded to those wondering why ‘husband’ was omitted from JohnPaul Odonwodo, popularly known as Jnr Pope’s obituary.

The family of the deceased actor released his obituary poster on Friday, April 26, announcing his burial date as May 17th.

However, netizens were quick to notice that while the obituary described him as a son, father, uncle, and superstar, it did not include the title ‘husband,’ eliciting mixed reactions online.

Some netizens queried why ‘husband’ was not included, considering the late actor’s marital status before his untimely demise.

In response, Stanley directed the curious cats to ask the late actor’s brother for clarification on the decision to omit the title ‘husband.’

He also mentioned having information about Junior Pope but said he won’t divulge it.

He wrote,
