A Nigerian lady named Precious Adewoyin, has graduated with a First-Class Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from Afe Babalola University, Ado Ekiti, Nigeria.
Celebrating her success on LinkedIn, Precious shared reflections on her university journey, recounting her experiences as a law student and the dedication that led her to achieve First-Class Honors.
When she first enrolled at the university, Precious had two primary goals: to work hard toward graduating with a First-Class degree and to ensure her academic journey was just one part of a broader university experience.
The first goal, she noted, was a promise she made to her father, while the second was a commitment to her younger self—to fully embrace university life and all its opportunities.
Reflecting on her time at Afe Babalola University, Precious said she feels accomplished, happy, and fulfilled, not only because she achieved First-Class Honors but because she made the most of her university experience.
Precious actively sought opportunities to grow, whether through challenging herself in leadership positions—such as the Judicial Council and the ABUAD Intellectual Property Club.
Also by applying for internships that allowed her to explore her interests, including roles at notable firms like Olisa Agbakoba Legal, ALN Nigeria (Aluko & Oyebode), and Olaniwun Ajayi.
She said she was intentional about stepping beyond her comfort zone, applying for roles even when unsure of the outcome, and maintaining an open-minded approach to different legal fields.
Beyond academics, Precious prioritized time for rest, fun, and meaningful connections with friends. She also deepened her spiritual life, an experience she holds close to her heart.
Reflecting on her university years, she says her memories are not only of study sessions but of the friendships, experiences, and full life she led.
Grateful for her journey, Precious is excited to begin a new chapter and looks forward to the future with optimism.
